Yes and no. They are not biological sisters, but they share a common kinship after being raised by wolves together in the wilds of northern Canada.
Hey, is the Grapefruit Moon named after the Tom Waits song?
Yes and no. Sandy's last name is Moon, so she wanted something with "moon" in it. And Tom Waits happened to come up with just the right phrase.
Where are the washrooms?
At the back of the restaurant, next to the big lighted sign that says "washrooms." They are NOT down the stairs. They are at the back of the restaurant. Not down the stairs.
Can I have a double-chocolate amaretto martini with a dash of Lord Balinglopfinger's Kiwi Liqueur?
No. We're not on College Street; our bar is pretty basic. We generally have the standards, as well as some special things we like, and a selection of very tasty single-malt scotches. But if your mixed drink gets much more complex than a Gin & Tonic, you may well have to describe it to us and cross your fingers that we have the ingredients. Or you could have a beer.
